Unlock idea net setter E1550 and use any GSM sim.

Friends i have recently unlocked an idea huawei E1550 3G compatible net-setter myself few days ago. And wanna share all that experience here with you. before unlocking it I ve read many post on many where and like you was also confused a little bit.But after reading those posts I ve made one conclusion and finally that worked for me. And this was the 1st time I unlocked any data-card. So if you are wanna unlock ur net-setter just go ahead.

All you have to do follow three steps:                  


before starting this process please check that idea net-setter is properly installed and u are using the default bundled idea sim.

And it requires constant power/electricity during this operation. I dont know what happen if power-cut happens in the middle of the process. Better to use laptop with fully charged condition. And atleast charge ur UPS fully incase of if u dont have any laptop.


download all three below mentioned stuffs to unlock your data card. And unzip them all. All three softwatre are uploaded by myself

STEP 1:

Calculate the flash code of your net-setter. there are many programs and many experts to calculate. still I mention here my favourtire flash code calculator. Just go throgh the link and download it. I uploaded it my-self.


run "Huawei Modem Unlocker.exe".


and calculate your flash code and copy it to ur clipboard or write down on a paper.


STEP 2:

Now click on "E155XUpdate_11.608.13.02.00.B418.exe" . In notime it will detect your modem and after that it will ask the flas code. Just paste/type the flash code and let the process to flash ur firmware. after this flash just insert any other sim(rather than ur default bundled one), you will surely see that it is accepting that one. and it shows it coverage and edge status.


Now just go to step3.


STEP 3:

Now just click on "HUAWEI UTPS11.302.09.06.209.exe". It will remove ur previous firmware and install the original "Mobile Partner" which is also like your previous dashboard and very user-friendly. So nothing to worry.



Ya buddy now you can smile. You have done all and successfully unlocked ur Idea huwaei E1550. And now u r eligible to use any SIM card with your E1550. Just insert your needed SIM , create a new profile with appropriate APN(access point name) and connect yourself with "INTERNET", more conveniently, more cheaply from previous one.
